Ubud’s Monkey Forest

Monkey Forest is a large park in the South of Ubud which looks like a magical kingdom from an Indian fairytale. You get to the Monkey Forest by walking down South one of the main streets of Ubud:


The main entrance to Monkey Forest. The women on the right are selling bananas which tourists can feed to the monkeys – although it is clearly signposted everywhere that it is dangerous to feed them. Indeed many monkeys suffer from obesity.
